It's Baaack!!

I stole this title from the front page of the Mining Journal tonite. In case you are not reading this from the Marquette area, it's Ol' Man Winter that they are referring to. I just looked back at a blog entry I wrote last year - about the first "Snow Day" where school was called off. It was November 6th!!!! So, guess we're a little pokey this year. It actually hasnt been that bad, but the snow started around this weekend and is expected to continue off and on throughout most of the week.

Some of the snow totals in just the past day were: Marquette 10", Harvey 5.5", Ishpeming 2" and the winner as usual is our own little snowbelt Negaunee coming in at 14.2"!!

So......get used to it...start driving a bit slower and defensively.....watch out for the other guy... remember that there are actually people in town new to winter driving...and most importantly, don't forget to go have some fun in the snow.

Personally, I like reading a book in front of a warm fire and drinking some coffee laced just a bit, but you "snow-folk" get out there and do your thing. I'll be thinking about you!

Snow crazy! ~ Liz
